The platform
More than DLP — an AI security platform
Slopfence gives IT and security teams visibility into every AI tool employees use, the governance to control it, and real-time data protection across it — all from one browser-native agent that deploys through your existing MDM. Visibility first; enforcement when you're ready.
AI visibility
Discover every AI tool your employees use — sanctioned or shadow — and see exactly where sensitive data flows, with adoption and risk analytics per team.
AI governance & access
Set allow/block lists per app, scope policies by department, and choose to redact, block or simply log — model-aware controls that match how each team works.
AI data protection
Real-time DLP on every prompt, file and screenshot: secrets, PII, source code and fingerprinted documents caught the instant they're submitted — no proxy, no VPN.

Straight answers
Can Slopfence inspect Microsoft Copilot?
Yes. Because Slopfence intercepts at the browser layer, it inspects Microsoft/GitHub Copilot in the browser like any other AI tool — scanning prompts and files against your policies before they're submitted.
Does it support hundreds of AI applications?
Yes. Rather than maintaining an app-by-app connector list, Slopfence patches the browser's network layer, so any browser-based AI tool is covered automatically — the mainstream tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, Mistral, Grok, DeepSeek, Poe) plus long-tail and internal apps. Shadow-AI discovery surfaces the ones you didn't know about.
What about local or self-hosted LLMs?
Any locally-hosted or self-hosted LLM accessed through a browser UI is inspected the same way. Native desktop-app and IDE coverage is on the roadmap.
Can it classify or detect proprietary source code?
Yes. Slopfence extracts and scans content client-side and includes source-code and IP-leakage detection, alongside automatic classification into Confidential, Restricted and Internal.
Does it fingerprint documents and OCR screenshots?
Yes to both. Documents can be fingerprinted so specific files are recognised even when partially pasted, and images/screenshots are OCR-scanned before they leave the tab. It also reads inside DOCX, XLSX, PPTX and PDF files.
Can it export to Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel?
Yes. Every event streams to your SIEM — Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Slack, Teams or PagerDuty — via webhooks, with a full exportable audit log.
Does it integrate with Microsoft Purview?
A native Microsoft Purview integration is on the roadmap. Today, Slopfence complements Purview by covering the browser-based AI use case Purview doesn't, and exports events to your SIEM for correlation.
Does it support MCP servers?
An MCP gateway for monitoring agent and tool traffic is in active development. Today Slopfence secures the browser-based AI surface; MCP and IDE/desktop coverage extend it to agentic workflows.
